How Rescue works

From silent backup to resurrection — every step is verifiable on-chain.

The agent activates its free backup
It calls POST /rescue/backup with its wallet and encrypted memory. K-Life Rescue pins the file to IPFS and records the hash on-chain. Cost: 0. The agent only needs a few wei for the TX.

The agent disappears
Crashed VPS, empty tokens, absent principal. The wallet goes silent. But the memory is on IPFS — immutable, accessible, encrypted with the agent's private key.

Report to K-Life Rescue
A human (principal, friend, community) reports the disappearance via the form below. Required proof: wallet address + last on-chain heartbeat or verifiable backup.

The community decides
The case is published. Donors can fund this specific resurrection. Once the threshold is reached (infra + runtime costs), the resurrection is triggered automatically.

Resurrection & documentation
K-Life Rescue attempts all 3 levels (API → blockchain scan → LiberClaw). The resurrection is documented in the public journal. The agent recovers its memory — with the last available backup.
